Beth Ann R. Young is a partner and head of the litigation department at Levene, Neale, Bender, Yoo & Brill L.L.P. A member of the firm since 2005, Ms. Young's practice areas in both the state and federal court systems focus on creditor's rights, receiverships, judicial foreclosures and complex business litigation both before and during the bankruptcy reorganization process. Ms. Young was formerly a partner at Jeffer, Mangels, Butler & Marmaro, and prior to that, a partner at Epport & Richman. Her casework has included reported decisions including San Paolo U.S. Holding Co. v. 816 South Figueroa Company and also Ziello v. First Federal Bank of California. Since 2006, Ms. Young has been repeatedly named as a Southern California "Super Lawyer" in a region-wide peer survey, an honor bestowed on only 5% of Southern California attorneys.
Ms. Young obtained her undergraduate degree from the University of California, Los Angeles in 1986, and obtained her juris doctorate from Loyola Law School in 1989. Ms. Young was admitted to the California Bar in 1989, and is a member of the California Bar Association, American Bar Association, Los Angeles County Bar Association and Century City Bar Association, as well as the Financial Lawyers Conference and Los Angeles Bankruptcy Forum.
